常見問題解答
Origin of Stingless Bees
Stingless bees are small in size and black in appearance, resembling a fly. Scientifically known as Trigona Carbonaria, they are called stingless bees due to the absence of a stinger. In Malaysia, they are referred to as Lebah Kelulut.
It is estimated that there are approximately 500 species of stingless bees worldwide, with 36 species found in Malaysia. Thanks to favorable climate and geographical conditions, countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam are considered the best locations for cultivating stingless bees.
High Nutritional Value: 10 Times Higher Than Other Types of Honey
Stingless bee honey contains natural antibiotic elements, offering strong antioxidant effects, powerful antibacterial and antitoxin properties, vasodilation benefits, and immune system strengthening, while activating cells. It is also rich in flavonoids, carotenoids, organic acids, aromatic acids, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals.
Stingless bee honey can also be consumed by diabetic patients. Research shows that it helps maintain white blood cell and maltose levels at nearly normal ranges. Additionally, it is rich in mucopolysaccharides, which help prevent and improve hyperglycemia.
Stingless bee honey is highly nutritious and has various medical applications. Compared to honey from traditional bees (large honeybees), it is better suited for nourishing the body’s cells. Its unique properties give it anticancer potential. Many people associate honey with sweetness, but stingless bee honey is different. As a natural product, it serves as one of the best natural enzyme sources.
